I’ve gone through the collection of images from the latest trip to Turkey. This trip took us from Istanbul, to Kandira, to Trabzon, and back.
Since the last post, I’ve been able to get a few months hang time in a couple of different venues. Starbucks had different pictures on the walls for two months, and I’ve just hung three of my favorite pieces at a local yoga studio called OmBase. Stop by and take a look at the artwork, and take a class while you’re there!
Albums with the exhibit photos are located on the Exhibits Page of the MPDPhoto website.
I’ve added a calendar page, replete with pdf versions of past calendars, and with the current calendar theme. The past calendars can be re-printed with the current year, with the exception of “A Decade of Travel”. I’m reserving that as an original, for my use only.
The current calendar, Majesty, is in it’s preliminary stages, and therefore appears as an album of images. I’m currently working on assigning months to the images, so if you’ve got ideas as to where they might go, feel free to leave a remark with the image.
The page is not linked with the main page, yet, but is at www.mpdurbinphotography.com/calendars.
Thanks to Zey, I’ve sold another print to one of her co-workers: a 18×24″ Buddha.
I’ve added a new album to the landscape section of the site with images taken from a August backpacking trip in Southern Washington State. Spring comes late in the high country, and the wildflowers were still in full bloom at the 6000′ altitude. There was also still snow, and our destination lake was still almost completely frozen over! Enjoy the images, and feel free to leave comments or suggestions!

I’ve posted a few more images in the Landscape/Oregon album that show off some more of the beauty of this beautiful state. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I’ve added a guestbook functionality to try to get some of those 650 visitors, so far, to let me know who they are, and what they liked about the site. Please feel free to sign in and rave (good or bad) about an image that you saw on the site. You don’t need to register or login to leave a comment on the page. Your thoughts are enough!
The Guestbook is at: http://www.mpdurbinphotography.com/wpb/?page_id=27
I’ll work on making that URL more “friendly” next…
Cheers!
I’ve added new images to both these albums at Flowers and Plants, and Portraits.
Enjoy!
It looks like Papaccino’s has been sold to a dog-friendly coffee retailer, and they’ve decided that the artwork will be centered around dogs. Hmm. It would’ve been nice to know about it earlier, but at least I haven’t really dug into the prep work for the upcoming exhibit.
Movin’ on…
I’ve added content to the Landscape/Oregon album, and the Close Up/Flowers album with new images. Feel free to leave comments with any of the images that you see!
